Stagestruck plans and executes a variety of venue-based events in the UK and overseas, for global brands including Skoda, Samsung, ITV, Marks & Spencer and BP. The original drivers to achieve ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certification were a combination of Stagestruck’s foundational principles as a value-led company, a commitment to streamline processes to enhance team efficiency, and to provide valuable evidence to clients that Stagestruck delivers a service that is hallmarked by quality and care.
The specific challenge was that Stagestruck had recently developed a bespoke End-to-End Client process. It was essential that all ISO requirements were integrated into this process rather than creating separate documentation and procedures, which would have caused lack of buy-in and system failure. We achieved this through ongoing engagement with key Stagestruck personnel and an iterative, agile approach to project planning.
This collaborative approach also enabled the identification of ‘hotspots’ i.e. those company-specific risks and opportunities. This, in turn, led to the development of beneficial and meaningful Objectives, Targets and Plans that were captured in Stagestruck’s practical Improvement Log. This quickly became a live management tool, which continues to be referred to and updated during Management Meetings.
Stagestruck achieved certification by the target date set, with zero observations and zero non-conformities. The central framework implemented for Stagestruck builds in scale-ability in terms of other ISO’s as stakeholder requirements continue to grow, and they have since added ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 to their successes.
